While applying tons of DOTs on basics, meaning Assassin Jade and other evaders can’t deal with Kintaro like most opponents who use DOTs.
Fire + Bleed on the opponent practically 24/7 while being able to sponge special attack after special attack makes Kintaro feel like the juggernaut he should be.

Kintaro’s specials aren’t the strongest for his relative attack, but his special 2 is a grapple, and honestly, he doesn’t need one-shot specials when he widdles away at an enemy’s health quickly even with just basics.

@foggy spade yes, that’s a glitch. It can only apply 1 Bleed DOT at a time. However that massive Bleed restack resets the timer every time it happens, meaning it’s effectively 12% damage to their health reset every time you successfully trigger the Bleed DOT again. Once Kintaro starts going, nothing can stop him (except DOT immunity, but even then, hey, one character can’t do literally everything lol)

In conclusion; Kintaro is supa’ good. But he takes practice to master. He isn’t a character you’ll succeed with the first few times you pick him up and play him, but once you figure out his gaps and stuff and time attacks accordingly, you’ll be amazed.

His Tiger Eye doesn’t even have block breaker, it applies Bleed DOTs. In a sense, it doesn’t matter if the opponent blocks or not. Lol.

With the Shadow Sash though, you resist block breaker almost completely, and you better take special attacks. It’s a match made in heaven for Kintaro, being able to repeatedly sponge attacks and slap a Fire DOT on the attacker for even trying it, while continuing to mash them with Bleed inducing basics.

You are using block break as an argument, virtually any character can be good with block break
