You need to break the block first by BK’s basic attacks + combo and then mid combo use SP1.

I am a new player as well and have only played this game for 40 days.

You just need to grind on the quests to get souls and then use them wisely.

That always goes over my head ! The probability of getting a character never stacks up, it always remains flat (fixed).

This is more of a gamble I’d say. And all online games (casino etc.) have probabilities stacking up.
