Yeap, more busted equipment. And yes, balance has truly gone out of the window on this game. But let's be honest, it's still the same case of breezing through faction wars with ease with the likes of Klassic Liu Kang, Strike Force and Shao Kahn 4 bars/other x-ray teams. Broken Jade isn't going to make a difference to veteran players. All this will do is make the game more difficult for newer players and entice people to spend money to "get the broken stuff". Great marketing ploy but good luck getting a balanced meta if PVP is ever on the cards (probably never will be).

I don't know about Jade, but I hope they do a higher tier (Just about 10 cards) and then do challenges for diamonds like golds but harder like an Elder challenge or something so post-update 2.0 players could possibly get the diamonds in about 5 or 6 years 😂 This will not happen of course.

There’s no way the Towers are not repeated in the future. That would be a horrible business model because what would the point to even have the equipment for the specific tower only? If anything they add more tower exclusive equipment each time it comes out
Aside from the brutality (mind you they are not even on favorite players at the moment ie kano and kabal) the equipment is almost worthless. The epic heart for BDT is the best one and only one that I use frequently to get fatal attacks for feats of strength completed

@queen kelp It is a good business model for them, a bad game experience for us. They design 10 gears for each tower, and they sell them for money exactly because they are so rare, if they come back every few months nobody is going to buy tens of money packs to get them. Indeed they add more tower gears, but not the same gears, so each time players feel the need to buy money packs.

@queen kelp I'm not that type, but a lot of collector players are. They want everything maxed, so if they know that towers are limited-time only, they buy packs to get them. No you could not get them, not all of them all the time! A lot of players finished 6, 7 times each and always missing 1 or 2 and almost no one even maxed all rare gears, let alone epics.

@inner ice It's not about the revenants, cause it's called Shirai Ryu, they could have easily called it Circle Of Shadow Tower, but they didn't so this is just a thing they did and so far no matter how hard we try there is no explanation for it, except maybe it's a 2 tower thing or it's some brand new tower like a Raid or something that you should finish Jade's part first and move on to Scorpion. It's pretty messed up this update imo!

@wooden stump if we're counting the possibility of 9% chance of diamond on 268 discounted diamond pack, we need 100 x 268 = 26800 soul to get at least 9 diamond. which mean if we spent only on diamond pack sale, the average soul cost for 1 diamond is 3000
so, 4 diamond with 10k souls is still good
