I've played every NRS title that has came out since Mortal Kombat 9 in 2011, I go way back with Mortal Kombat as well. I remember when I first played the MK2 Arcade back in 1993. ❤️

Trials is a game mode in which you can unlock a card within a week, I'm pretty sure their are seven towers with 5 battles, and each tower unlocks on a daily basis for a week.

Trial Mode is a new game mode introduced in Update 2.0. The concept is the same as Challenge Mode; there will be 5 towers players must complete in order to unlock the prize character. The only difference is that upon completion of a tower, players must wait 24 hours for the next tower to be unlocked, not allowing players to make further progress unlike in Challenge Mode, where players can fight in any tower, no matter the order. A Trial event lasts 14 days, which allows players enough time to gather their ranks and be able to complete the event in order to gain the prize character. Each trial has five towers; trial towers 1-4 has 5 fights and tower 5 has 6, including a boss battle. Unlike Challenge Mode, the boss character will not be that of the Trial's unique character. Instead, the boss character will be one from previous challenges. Also unlike Challenge Mode, players will have the opportunity to progress through towers with the Trial's unique character, similar to the boss towers in Battle Mode . This is a great way to get to know the character and learn their special attacks and abilities ahead of time.

Other than being for customisation, isn’t it useless as they don’t really add much to your characters?

And a lot of stuff that we/the community want from the game are not in the hands of the developers. It's a big company, they have big plans and they go along with it maybe for years, so Mick and others could suggest some stuff here and there about drop rates, diamonds,... but it's not like they can do whatever they want.

It's really all about sustaining at least 3 bars (out of a typical 5) while starting up the game from a full exit and also making sure your caches for other apps have been emptied and background processes have been limited. Your 4G and 3G operate on different bands or connections, so one might give only two bars of signal strength and the other, perhaps four. It can vary from location to location.

I wouldn't recommend this but , use vpn to connect to US regions which might help with the same progression but if you connect to other regions you will start over but everything will be normal when you switch back to India again.

@south vortex It doesn't matter about that. You can use your phone for other stuff. Now, if your phone has less than 3GB of memory, you may have to restart the game if you've been doing other stuff on your phone. Meanwhile your time progression continues and your elapsed time will be indicated once you get back into the game. You can also work on your Battle Mode, Challenge Mode, Shao Kahn's Tower, etc. in the meantime.
