You're gonna fus up certain cards and get to a stage where you'll have to rely on only fus up cards so you can't even enjoy newer cards until you fus them up as well
Example, ghost face. Rn you can get 1 copy, at the stage I'm at. I can't really use him for shii so he just sits there till I can get him to atleast fus 5/6

If this doesn't seem ideal for you then just spend money on the counter part inj 2 that feels more interactive and you can still use lower level cards efficiently and have fun.

I don't regret spending cash on mk11 but I would have spent less if I knew it's a rabbit hole (personal experience)

Use gears with team effect for Shang Tsung. I will never switch to him
And for mk11 scorpion use a block breaker, extra life such as living dead, varmints lucky hat and restless ninja's figure.
And for sf scorpion use block breaker, earth elemental mask, shintai of malice, and ceremonial pipe.
With this setup i always get 1.8x to 2x in any week.

Back when i started farming items, my strategy was to use 2 strongest characters and 1 with 1.5 modifyer for extra hearts. And do 1 normal krypt and 1 hard krypt a day spending the green and brown candy in hard). You will also have some keys stored from playing the game. If you still cant afford the 6k epic on last day, use keys to fill the missing hearts.

Early days are one of the roughest in MK mobile... You gotta grind everything

The challange cuz it gives souls even if the character isn't impressive, the krypt cuz it can drop good stuff though very rare but the fear of missing out keeps your nose to the grind stone, the quests, the realm klash because, well, you need to max out klassic Scorpion and maybe get a copy of klassic Ermac. I love/hate the game.
