No. The way the reward system works changed completely. Now a season lasts 2 weeks, resets every 2 weeks on Wednesday. The rewards are split into 2, so you esentially get 2 sets of rewards, one on the first Wednesday of a new season, the other on the second Wednesday. You can now drop tower epic equipments, epic upgrade cards, rare upgrade cards. You also get dragon krystals from it. The first rewards are weaker and the second week ones are the better ones in which you can drop epic equipments, though it needs a huge effort, scoring in top 3 ranks.

Also bonus characters change every week. And characters you lose in the first week, get revived in the second one. Also, equipment can be repaired or they'll repair themselves automatically on the second week.
