You should also try to do the challenges and daily tasks. Challenges give an ok amount and the trials aren't too rewarding but you get a few souls every day just by playing the game

Also use your tower attemps, if you can climb the towers then good, if not then just jump in a game with your weakest team and lose. You have a chance of getting some souls or at least some coins
