Im early game, quests are your only friends. Once you max out your gold kollection and FX a few rare gears, then whenever you get an extra copy, you get extra soul. Also people with thousands of souls often do multiple tower runs and get koins and souls from rewards/resells. Save souls, do all the gold challenges, do 1 hour quests as much as you can (27/hour), and save save save. Also watch ads twice per day for DK/Souls.

He starts carrying from F0 itself. But you slowly start playing him only in difficult levels that might take multiple tries otherwise. I find I play him less and less. Just want to complete my diamond scorp set. MK1 is FX, Strike Force is F9, MK11 is F9, Hellspawn is F5.

I figured out that MK1 Smoke's biggest problem is his combo enders outside ninjutsu
