With gear and some good strategy most towers aren’t too difficult. Fusions don’t matter on certain diamonds if you use the correct gear

It’s useful to play though because you still get the same reward for winning and losing so you can still get gear if you lose

keep playing towers even if you lose battles. You will slowly gather the tower gear and next time it comes around you will progress even further
