If you were one fusion away from maxing an Epic gear (F9) and if someone else was six away (F4), would it still cost you both 15 Epic Fusion Up cards to max them (FX)?

At 150 Dragon Krystals for each Epic Fusion Up card, that's 2250 DKr!

And seemingly highly unfair.
