honestly, if you're interested, do it - regardless of whether or not the prof is a hard grader or if the class has a high fail rate. I'm a first-year CS student, and the journey's been 100% worth it. You might face trouble with data structures & algo depending (if you haven't coded before uni) on the language but it's really feasible if you're willing to grind leetcode or even do a couple courses on udemy/coursera
