Here's a fun fact about the Dancer of the Boreal Valley: Being a direct descendant of Gwynevere, princess of sunlight, the Dancer along with many others is an irithyllian. Imprisoned be the self proclaimed pontiff, The Dancer was forced to wield 2 swords by the tyrant, her right sword infused with dark, her left with fire, mirroring those of the pontiff. After prince Lothric refused to link the first flame, his kingdom fell apart. This caused the Pontiff Sulyvahn to send out the Dancer into a division of outrider knights with a Pontiff's eye ring. Those banished into this division were exiles, and the Dancer ended up protecting the high walls of Lothric along with Vordt of the Boreal Valley. She was turned into a beast by the ring to ensure she wouldn't betray the Pontiff!
