Before 5.2 update, normal Krypt was 2 floors. Hard was 3 and elder was 4 floors. You could not move automatically anywhere on the map either. Everything was manual. It was tedious and exhausting doing Krypt runs

LKT was murder in its debut. So they invented the dual Tower system in its wake. An Easy Tower (that's what many of us called it) and a hard one (npi). Now it's referred to as a Normal Tower.

The old Krypt you could farm so easy. Fights only rewarded you like 2 hearts. 95% of all your hearts came from tombstones. So just run around the map and don’t do any fights except the ones blocking tombstones and the boss floors. A normal 45 minutes to 1 hour elder run could be reduced to 15-20 minutes playing and you could walk way with 95% of the hearts.

What’s why I never liked 5.1 because I’m all about efficiency. Grinding the most in the least amount of time. Sure the introduction of tower equipment drops is fine but honestly I thought the weekly rotation in the store was enough already.
Two tower pieces per week = 8 per month, or 96 per year.
