what he did was really weird, he usually has an xbox controller to play certain steam games with, so he connected the controller and then did the console link and it worked

maybe it’s because of button prompts or something, connecting a controller will make the mk11 be recognized as the full console version

Idk if this also works for ps controllers but it doesn’t hurt to try (I also connected a spare xbox 360 controller to play MK1 on, lol)
