Let me explain why,while opening the diamond packs u get golds anyway ,towers etc,but a 3 fusion of diamond is almost equal with a f7 or sometime even f10 golds.

There are nearly 100 characters if I'm not mistaken. You won't have all of them maxed. That's why to play the normal towers, I use the last reward the tower gave it to me. Last DQT was Wretch D'Vorah and I could complete the tower with her

but you can reduce fusions depending on how difficult you want the match to be
