@marble sigil okay so Gold character usually refers to the Basic Pool of Golds that have been in the game since release basically, so all the cards from the Gold Pack in the store but nowadays it technically also covers newer golds like Lizafd and Edenian blood that don’t have their own challenges yet

As a beginner you should try to get a full MK11 Team... Specially with MK11 Scorpion (top-tier diamond).

So try to get at least 3 MK11 Kards (Scorpion among them) to have a good kickstart. MK11 Scorpion, MK11 Jade, MK11 Sub-Zero, for example.
