Exp is not balanced the way it should be. After early level 40s, there's an exponential increase in the amount of exp needed to keep getting to the next level. The time grinding is not worth it. That is where you use as many LV Up cards as you can.

Best advice I can give you is literally by just playing. Playing is about the only thing you can do to level up your characters. I know that doesn’t help much, but it’s the honest truth. It will take time, but it’ll help you out in the end
