So i guess it just depends how good you’re opponents special attacks are

It's all a matter of fusing them up. MK11SC and MK11SZ used to alternate as offerings in FW. So, a lot of people were able to use them at their best potential. Other MK11 characters, generally speaking, have not been as easy to fuse.
