My tactics was try to get as much souls as possible from doing 1 hour quests and use the souls on Skarlet pack to fx the diamonds from there. When my MK11 Scorpion and Sub-Zero became f5, I started clearing towers easily and get more diamonds from there. Before the year ended, I got every diamond in the game. Use this tactic lol

And even for new players, there are only a handful of cards that are good even at low fusions. And considering that the poll didn't even have someone like Klassic Liu Kang, who I'd really like to fuse a few times, says a lot about what they're planning with this anniversary thing
