You can start with (1) but that'd make it harder due to the presence of xy

Rearrange all the stuff so that only x or y remains on LHS and the rest all of it is in RHS
You get eq(3)

Now put the value of X from eq(3) in eq (1)

And then go as far as possible

You will reach a "factorization" step
That is "multiply to get the thing on right and add to get the one if middle"

And "take common"

That should give you 2 value of "x//y"

And the rest you know how it works since you just put both new values(once each) in either eq (1) / (2) / (3)
