The ai can either just break out early and attack you before you finish, or block it then you can’t react and they attack you. Or they can’t break out and you do the blast successfully.

It's worth it because like i said, you get all sorts of rewards including epics. You may also get those souls back randomly. Skipping refreshes is a huge mistake as some towers take 2 years to come back

The most important thing in the game is equipment and nothing is like tower gear. Those diamonds aren't that important compared to tower gear
