brutalities can be done by characters who have them and they can be done anywhere on all opponents. for brutality, you need to have full set of tower equipments for specific character (it’s noted in the passive of equipment which character it’s for). all towers have different kinds of tower equipments, thus different kind of brutality sets for a character (such as shirai ryu tower has brutality gear for scorp or lin kuei tower has brutality gear for sub0 etc). once you get the full brutality set for a character, you are able to brutalize opponents with them during the match. that is done with a special combo ender (an unique combo ender which you can apply for 40% chance). the brutality only happens when the opponent is low on health and it’s marked in blood, that’s when they’re in brutality range. so you have to do a combo ender when they’re in that range and hope for special combo ender to brutalize them. note that brutality only works on opponent per match but you can do it on the entire opponent team if you use the talent “brutal ending” in your talent tree
