diamond character: klassic raiden

klassic raiden is one of the best character to get in the team. with being every class (except netherrealm), he goes in ANY kind of team cause of his passive & synergizes with the support from the same classes he meets. he is also in the top 3 strongest teams, klassic team. most of the klassic characters are top in the game which he can team up with to make good team with, such as: klassic rain (for rain's soak + debuffs and power gen boost for klassic teammates), klassic smoke (chance to resist and reflect debuffs for klassic teammates) , klassic scorp (help with tagging in low health opponent with his sp1 to pair with klassic raiden's tag in attack), klassic liu kang (for infinite cripple applied to opponent team) etc.
or elder gods such as kenshi (crit immune and 20%+ crit chance for elder gods)

on tag-in, klassic raiden removes 40% health of opponent's health and powerdrains them. this works in passive, fusions don't matter. with this, even a brand new copy of klassic raiden can take off so much health from opponent's health just by tagging in. this is a massive advantage which he can repeatedly use for normal battles, except for bosses who are immune to it noted in his passive. this way, he doesn't matter in whatever team you put him in.

klassic raiden's basic attacks are very quick. he is able to chain with them by cancelling both of his combo enders. from the quick hits, he generates power faster.

klassic raiden's sp1 is unblockable and gives him dispel. it deals high damage if crit or lethal. this can be used for quickly finishing off or damaging and removing any debuff from him to help him fight.

klassic raiden's sp2 is unblockable and his biggest blast. it deals very much damage as his lightning's hit too many times and it gets better when crit. from too many hits, the opponent is able to generate a lot of power quickly. but with the weaken he applies, they are able to deal less much damage than they normally do.

Sp1 ko is slightly punishable, however certain character's tag in animations are slightly long enough that raiden can tag out afterwards, such as leatherface, nightmare jason, mk11 raiden, that sorta stuff

the kombat cup team is the best gold team in the game and beats some diamonds.

kombat cup team: kc johnny, kc sonya, kc cassie / covert ops cassie

you should have kc johnny as the starter and as the main fighter. spam his basic attacks (with block breaker) and spam his sp1. you can chain these attacks unless the evades just like assassin jade. kc johnny has 40% chance to stun an opponent who tries to tag out, which acts like a snare. this can be repeated as long as it enters the 40% chance. but with “weak point attacks” from defense talent tree, you can have chance to snare on sp1. kc johnny is the solo fighter of this team and can be used as a solo gold fighter to finish battles. i consider him the best gold arguably.

when there’s a strong opponent in the team you’re facing or with much power, you tag-in kc sonya to red card them (this tags the opponent out + powerdrains them and they can’t tag-in until both of their teammates die). this makes your fight easier, as you’re facing only two opponents which won’t get the assist of their third teammate. then when both of the teammates die, you can save up special attacks who got red carded (maybe cause they have much health and you want to deal damage, the red card gives you advantage anyways). bosses are immune to kc sonya’s red card, noted in her passive.

kc sonya can also force an opponent to tag out with her sp2 if unblocked as that applies fear which tags out the opponent. maybe the opponent you’re facing is not the one you wanted to face or wanted to red card.

the kombat cup team consists of stun immunity from kc sonya and cripple immunity from kc cassie. these help kc johnny fight without him getting stunned to hit at and crippled to stop him from using his sp1 spam or special attacks in general.

tag kc cassie so you can use her flag attack to punish an opponent to being an outsider for 20 seconds. you will have 50% unblockable chance on the outsider opponent, so being able to deal free hits on them.
