@kind flint yeah tried that too. After the Netherealm studio logo, a pop up window appears saying that " data connection is required , please turn on the data or connect to a wifi network".
I have been playing this game for almost 1 and half years now. Till last month game ran perfectly fine with no issues. But, now Im not even able to open the game. And yes I made a backup in my WB account.

Well, I'm glad you have it backed up at least. Is the device fairly old or low on memory? reboot is the only other thing I can suggest. Or just toggle the wifi settings on and off and maybe that will give it more of a clue. I get that issue at hotels sometimes, like the internet works but the game doesn't and it's because there's a sign in page.....

@Orbitz, Klassic mileena is a faction wars reward card, that's how they introduced her. Same with IJ2 Raiden as I recall.

Engineer there are two databases so your account isn't gone, but there's an iOS one and an android one. If you can do bluestacks on a PC you can do the iOS one still.

mayonnaise you really can't rely on the "good" cards showing up in the shop. That's no longer a thing.

Mystamaze try logging in to the account again, I sometimes have this issue too. Like it says it's your account but it's blank. Log in again and I hope it fixes your problem.

You can't use the account if you switched from iOS to Android, it's not that you can't recover it, the account is still there, it's just not reachable from the other operating system as there's some kind of separation between the two, you can't port the account to a different operating system. Try bluestacks if you started it on iOS,

No its against ai not an actual player. Just the players team. You can pause it anytime which is a dead giveaway it's against ai and also there is no pause with the mini games when the opponent uses special attacks.

@tranquil kestrel it means you ran out of the golden coins. Just use normal golden coin to upgrade characters’ special attacks.

Earning them from all sources such as Battle mode, Faction wars, Towers, Challenges, Quests...

In the shirai ryu fatal tower, my Klassic Scorpion's "unblockable" spec 1 is being routinely blocked by everyone. And I usu score above 95% on the spec move mini game. Is this something in the tower rules(that I can't find posted anywhere), & if it is, does it apply to both towers?

I need help with my Mortal Kombat Mobile account. I keep trying to log on to a different device but for some reason the app doesn't have a username password thing and when you first download the app you are considered a "new player" until you change the name but the reason I am trying to log on to a different device and not my phone is because when I entered the password on my phone, it kept saying wrong password and I was never able to log into my phone so now we have to erase to phone to log back in so I was afraid of losing my progress especially because I had a couple of cool scorpions on it and I am just really worried about losing my account progress in the game and I'm stressing. They are potential rewards, you are guaranteed 3 souls

And if you are lucky, you can get 4 or more, max will be 7

#

I recommend you do Hard/Very Hard quests, they give 9 souls per quest, potential reward i believe is 15, you can get that IF lucky

@wispy pivot make sure your account is backed up with a WB ID, and then I suggest you remove and reinstall the game. Or you can start by clearing cache or application data, but BE SURE to back up your account with a WB ID in the game before you try any of that.

@gaunt trellis - I forget the rules of that tower, it's relic hunt tower 3 yes? Netherrealm characters only on your team right? If you have relentless Jason Vorhees that might help, and MK11 Jade is neatherrealm also if you have her and say shadow sash fusion X it will blind jade. Lastly, for combo enders, if you swipe in the OPPOSITE direction of the combo ender it will disappear so you don't have to sit there waiting. Otherwise avoid doing combo enders on Jade and limit specials, like paired SP2s are probably okay since she won't evade them both, likely.

I completed all 5 Shao Kan towers, but shows 54% progress, which is why I cannot resurrect Shao Kan. There is a screenshot that confirms this.

Also, I think versus Jade if you let her start an attack then hit your special, she may not evade. Alternately, characters that stun or equipment that delivers stun or if your talent tree happens to have stun somewhere, that will help as Jade doesn't evade when she is stunned.

Stunt double Johnny Cage stuns on tag in, but I suspect you can't use him in that tower. It's been a while since I had relic hunt since it shuts off when you have Shao Khan Fusion X.

One last tip, if you think Jade has X-ray (and bosses tend to fairly often), and you are a distance from Jade, BLOCK! Her x-ray requires her to be close and sometimes the program will use it when she's too far away.

Sun god kotal Kahn is the best variation of kotal.... His stats are better than silver at fusion x but as it is hard to get him to fusion x. Focus on buying the silver packs and getting your silver to fusion x

@gaunt trellis sorry for being so slow, but if you have reached the top of the tower with fairly healthy players, you can pay souls to heal them, but I don't think it's worth it for you, you just don't have strong enough characters yet. If you want to tweak them a little a) make sure all the specials are maxed out, use the cards for free upgrades LAST if you are short on koins, b) if they are diamonds, upgrade the passives to the second if not third, and c) look at their feats of strength and try to get them all to the second level, another 4% might help? How close are you to beating Jade in Shao Khan Tower 3?

Once you get the first special off, the special causes stun, Jade won't evade when stunned, you can usually squeeze in one basic attack NO COMBO ENDER and then to another basic attack with two hits (three?) and the special before the combo ender math happens....... that's my special trick. Glad you were able to get past Tower 3.

When I got the email about the current relic hunt, I didn't save it. I should have. I seem to remember it saying something about this being the last relic hunt. Is that right? I sure hope not, or my Shao Khan will be stuck at the 4th fusion forever. Incidentally, someone should tell the devs that the relic hunt is way too limited for the amount of months we have to wait for them. I aced it on the first day, and only managed 3 extra fusions. That's with beating the Shao Khan tower playing every single day, and never losing a match. He costs way too much in fragments, or they give way too few in the events.

Yep, just reread it to make sure it hadn't changed. It hasn't. My shao Khan hasn't done the instant finisher in 3 days or so. I use him all the time, and when I use Emperor's Bash, they r almost always knocked under 40%. Or does that mean they have to be under 40% before I start the move? If so, it's not worded very clearly.

Balanced Kenshi is best cuz ge gives himself and all spec ops a bar of starting power. As for actual fighting skills, the spec 1 power drain does come in handy cuz it doesn't have a limited range like Johnny Cage's does. However, that is really the only good move any Kenshi has.

That tears it. I just gave up on the Fatal Tower. It was bad before, but in the middle of floor 140, they just jacked the difficulty way up. Before in that floor I could at least get a few hits in, but now all of a sudden, they r so fast not even lvl 60 characters can get a hit in. That's crap. Jeans it was designed to be impassable. Thanks for wasting so much of my time on that.

Well, you have to have gears which allow brutalities (for Jade it's endenian bracers and endenian force rejecrion field and for subz it's another 2 pcs of gear I forgot which ones). When you have the brutality gear on them, than when your opponent is alone and is under 25% health, brurality will be performed instead a special combo ender.

@nova quarry you can get them at packs. Well i suggest you to buy the gold packs first (150 souls) so you can get gold characters. And use it to fight your way in challenges so you can get more souls and challenge character.

Try to build up your gold characters first and then you can get diamonds later in the game.

@brittle pier we covered that thing in our guide pinned in #🌐-player-guides. Talent tree is not meant to be maxed out, but is kind of a roleplaying mechanic. So you need to wisely spend talent points according to your playstyle, or the characters you use, or to counter the towers for example.

So here's where I'm at, been doing fairly well without dropping souls in Shirai Ryu tower, now I'm on Fatal 170 and got clobbered. My second plan is Assassin Jade, Treacherous Tanya and Klassic Mileena, but if anyone has better ideas let me know. I've been mostly using Spec Ops Scorpion, Punk Cassie and Undead Hunter Johnny, all Fusion X, but Fatal 170 has "weakened" spec ops so not a bright idea.

I have a question that is blowing my mind I wasn't even aware was a factor. How in the heck does equipment get destroyed? I been playing well over a year, have over 100 different characters, several of whom r level 60, & I had no idea equipment could he destroyed in a fight. How does it happen? And prolly more importantly, how do u know when it has happened?

As far as the new Terminator goes, just hit the little info button inside the spec op pack before u buy it. It tells u exactly who is available in there. Don't count on him being in there. The martial artists pack is the same principle, & u can't even get liu kang or bo rai cho from it. In fact, if i remember correctly, u can't even get a Cassie Cage from the spec ops pack.

And she is by far the best spec ops character. Bar none. Covert Cassie is hands down the best fighter in the game. I have her at level 54 right now, & she is already unstoppable unless there are heavy modifiers on the match.

Expatrie, the best team I have had success with in all towers & challenges is, 8x fused Klassic Scorpion(lvl 50) first, with the wrath hammer( if u r any good, u should be able to easily get over 80% every time), 10x fused Covert Cassie(lvl 54) 2nd, and 10x fused Aftershock Tremor(lvl 54) 3rd.

@kind flint , the above mentioned characters work really well. Mixing genres seems to be very effective in fatal tower. However, for god's sake, don't forget ur fatal tower equipment. The only time I ever get my rear handed to me is when I come from faction wars or something, & forget to change out my equipment.

I got though it, just stayed with FX undead hunter Johnny Cage, Spec Ops Scorpion and Punk Cassie (Cassie F3). Johnny - FX wrath hammer, FX drahmin's mask, FX subtle tattoo, Muramasa Blades 0. Scorpion - FX Kunai, FX storm hat, accessory blank- oops -FX red headband, Cassie - FX Sento Blade, FX body armor, FX voodoo doll and FX bound demon.

Gotcha. I never her played her enough to realize that. She has always been little more than a filler character to me. I only really use her if a tower or challenge calls specifically for her.

@kind flintzdx Cool. I don't have any of the strike force characters yet, but I know from fighting against them that covert cassie has a better punching rhythym. Plus every second combo has a block breaker in it, which is invaluable. Had her for most of the year or so I been playing, and I have yet to find anybody who can escape her punches when she really gets going, unless they r much bigger. Now that mine is level 55, I don't think much bigger than her really exists any more. She can lose, but she is the simplest, most versatile & deadly weapon in the game for my style. Which is every slot on attack & proficiencies in the skill tree filled, but no points at all in defense. Blocking is for losers in my book. Don't give em a chance to hit back, cuz u always get 1st move.

My bad. In this game they call proficiencies support. So all my talent points r in attack & support. Defense is for slow punchers & weenies.

akcowboy - I could potentially swap out for covert ops Cassie FX, but the bar of power drain across the board without letting Jade evade it, for example, is pretty valuable IMHO. Covert Ops Cassie would be a lot easier for newer folks to get than a punk Cassie.

@nova quarry upgrade cards, are you pertaining to the level up cards? Level up cards is use to increase the level of your character by 1, no matter how many experience points it needs.
When you got a character that is already in your roster, those cards will combine as one. Its called fusion.

@nova quarry support cards can be bought when you click any character card. And it affects all the character with the same name. Example: a support card that increases 3% of health to all kitana - this affects all the kitana cards, either mournful assassin, diamonds or gold or even silver.

Anyone tips for fatal tower lvl 180? Only Strike Force Scorpion left but as soon as I get his health bar half way he does his special attack two and gain all his health within a blink of an eye

Keep two stunners and a klassic liu kang
U can tag in when he gets stunned and he can't pull U when he is stunned and everytime U tag ur characters ,he gets crippled

@vapid osprey Well, I finally won the final boss fight of the Shirai Ryu fatal tower. I just figured out a way to win the fight without purchasing those tower’s rare, epic cards after losing at many tries. You must have fx klk in your team AND the Bloody Tomahawk for klk as well. Why? ‘Cause he’s the only one that is immune to the fire effect which keeps him alive and the Bloody Tomahawk will keep your opponents from gaining any power, which in case will prevent Spec Op Scorpion from using his SP2 to regenerate health time after time. ‘Cause when he does there’s no way in hell you’re gonna win the fight.

@keen raptor I don’t exactly know why, but I guest it cames along with the game’s format change. I think I hate it too. Cuz I’m no longer be able to fusion whatever characters that I already have in my collection. I think that they think it’ll make the game more interesting and the people want to play it more in order to get what they want?

Damn right. Yet you still only get a certain percentage chance of getting exactly what you want. Not really cool then. I still remember back then you spend like 500 souls you’ll have a 50% chance of getting a diamond card. Now you’ll spend like 400 - 450 just to have a 3, 5, or 15% max chance of getting a diamond card. Pretty bull to me then.

They do but if you look for gold then you’ll have a higher chance than looking for a diamond. Bottom line is the old store was the best ever.

Yeah I know like right now elite (class type) gives the best chance but has a chance of reg gold's as well. Is there a pack with higher chances or is that it?

There’re packs that’ll guarantee reg gold, challenge gold, or even diamond. You’ll have to spend some $$ for it though.
