Some tips on gameplay:
~ You can always counter attack, especially slow characters
~ When you're blocking, don't necessarily hold it, you can reset the blocking to be in a faster position (unless you're using Shirai Ryu Takeda)
~ When someone is gonna power drain you, either tag out very fast or waste your sp1 in order to give them damage
~ Don't always spam tapping, make sure to time right when going to your opponent and then start attacking, (note: that most of the cards do 3 hits when basic attacking)
~ When your opponent is attacking, you can always outplay them by tagging out and then start attacking them and using your special attacks

Some Tips on Team Synergy:
-If some of your Kards have passives that include giving/getting boosts from other factions or/and kards from the same faction then make sure to abuse that. Getting the best out of your passives can lead to a victory
-Some characters have to be in different spots, especially characters that have tag-in effects against the enemy or for your team. Make sure that you can use your tag-in effects at the right times and in the right situations
-The enemy can also have team synergy depending on their passives, and maybe gear. Make sure to check the enemies stats and know what you are up against so you can square up for the worst and hope for the best

The best way to get coins is to do challenges, the first two towers alone will give you close to 40k coins
Also, you can get 12k coins by doing a quick battle in fw everyday once you get 50k points @ebon flame

Tomahawk is another good one, a little riskier to use in fw because if the opponent has Devastator or maxed blaze's life force you'll lose your starting power, but I would go shang's stone or blaze's life force first

Dont use it as full auto, intervene when necessary, the auto battle is good at blocking in certain situation like on sp attack from enemy. Auto also does near perfect sp attack mini game, on characters that give advantages on high mini game sp attack %, using auto can be life saver. Klassic sub zero sp2 combo chain can be done easily on auto.

Its locked into device profile, you can see youra under settings-diagnostics. The problem is nrs set the profile range for phone hardware rather on conservative side. My phone could handle higher graphic profile but got locked into one step lower.
Buyinh better phone do not guarantee better graphics, you need to find out the graphic profile assigned by the game for the specific phone you are buying. One of my phone samsung galaxy j7 is assigned android_C. Lower spec is android_d which has lower character quality. The diagnostic would state as true on use low character quality asset.
Higher profile android_B gives better stage background effect like snow, fire, lightning effect. Highest is android_A.
My j7 could handle android_B with ease as on android_C my phone barely breakin sweat even on powerb saving and lowest performance cpu gpu setting on samsung game tuner, easily maintain locked 60 fps
But nrs locked it into android_ C, playing safe or they just use general profiling
Best to look for phone that has android_A under diagnostics, that gives the best graphic possible. Tricky stuff as not many share this info, maybe the mod could add discussion to share players phone and the profile assigned by NRS.

Replacing obb files is not illegal as long as the obb files are original / unmodified. I backup my obb files from all apps to my pc so if something went wrong i dont have to redownload them anymore. Obb files are simply compressed data files.

Guys if you are still new to this game, this is what you should focus on, in this order and progression:
- once you have a lot of silvers, max out silver kenshi, try to get a copy of demo sonya and ninjutsu scorp to let kenshi stack 43k+ attack.
- once u have a few golds,develop the kombat kids team: Kosplay jacqui, SR takeda and CO cassie cage: another broken team, buffs and stats flying through the roof.
- after you acquire shao kahn from relic hunt, build a team of master of souls ermac, mournful kitana, shao kahn. power bars for days.
- once you start accumulating more challenge characters, try to get a full triborg team. if you have 2 triborgs and need a third one, keep 450 souls on you at all times in case one pops up in your shop. triborgs are stupidly amazing for new players.
- once you start getting a few fusion X golds, then you start focusing on diamond packs. Top 3 diamond teams are: MK11, Strike Force and Day of the Dead. Avoid Ronin and Standalone Outworld Kards, they wont do much on their own.

you should start off with silver kenshi obviously, and then start gaining some basic golds, after your basic golds get high fusion (such as co cassie), you can go for challenger cards then

If anyone is experiencing the dead characters in Faction Wars even when season its over, this is caused because you were playing when FW ended, so the server will make you think you are playing in the current season and your characters wont be back to normal
To avoid this, just close your game or stop playing Faction Wars when its about to be over, and when its over restart your game to assure nothing is broken again

This is simply false, i often play survivor or quick battles while season is ending, when i finished the battle, the game simply reset my current season points, refresh it and my points earned during crossover is added on new season, theres no problem. I dont have permanent dead teams issues. What matters is stable network connection to avoid network sync issues like save error.
I never close or restart game either during new season start, as i always open the reward as soon as it appears on inbox

Here is a better way to put it, keep stable connection when fw season is being updated or synced with game server, it does not matter if you were not in fw or closed the game, when you open the game and enter fw, the new season refresh wil always happen, thats what matters.

I did have broken equipments and dead/survived characters when I was playing FW during the end of the season

Nope, they can try, but if you know how the game updates and sync with client, it wont matter if you are not in fw or have the game closed, you will have to sync when you start the game again. The syncing process is the issue.

The only posaible reason is the game server make erronous update to client save, problems during syncing on new season refresh is most likely what caused the glitched fw survivor saves

The thing is, the characters and equipment are all reset when season ends, but if you are still playing, server might think otherwise and can SOMETIMES cause some errors, cool, you didnt experienced them, but sadly some people did and most havent been fixed

I just want people to realize that the issue cant be prevented, if it happens, it happens. Thats just the way it is, everything is done server side, client only send fw progress made on current season, then download new states on fw refresh.

Ill make it simpler, the reason teams and gears staya unchanged is simply because theres problem during syncing when new season starts, client sends data on current fw progress, server then updates game save, client download the updated saves. This happens literally almost on any game activity that causr save to be updated like opening packs, quests, challenges, fw.

Anyway, this seems to be a lately issue, I don't remember this being here since the start of 3.0

The problem with dead characters started few weeks after the introduction of 3.0 iirc

im guessing 3.0.1 thats when i noticed the game became less tolerant to network instability, minor hiccup during pack opening easily lead to purchase error, which usually resolve itself after connection back to normal.
feels like the game is double checking server client states on every transaction or save updates. slight time outs yields error message like purchase error or data connection required.
almost like it wants to prevent tampering during sync up.

@lost pike @alpine escarp I have been thinking about the survivor dead teams and broken gears issue, with the way game saves works, i propose both of you to try something, its simple to do, but may force the server during new season refresh to clear the teams and gears states so they can be used. So basically we intentionally let a team to retreat during tower run and another team left active in tower until season ends. Both teams should have gears too. pick easy towers and less used teams, do a battle and win, then retreat so the team is marked dead. Another team do a battle or 2, win and then left it as it is, meaning let it stay in tower. Preferably do this near the end of season. When new season comes, dont go into survivor until it gets refreshed. The 2 teams, on retreat and one still active will force the game to recheck the saves states and hopefully clear them properly. Make sure internet connection is stable when the game refresh the survivor mode, either while you are in game or upon next restart of game. God speed guys.
