martial artists and him in his team have unblockable chance against netherrealmers already

if no netherrealmers, then use block breaker. if you have his earth elemental facemask maxed which gives power gen, then you can use block breaker as accessory and crit chance/dmg boost as weapon

if not maxed, then block breaker as weapon and power gen as accessory

also team him with martial arts. it could be any as long as it consists of: a fighter, a fighter/supporter and a supporter

From fw shop get kl scorpion. He's a extremely solid gold and will be able to do 80% of things in the game for you. Krypt? Easy for him. Survivor ? Not an issue . Towers ? No problem

Focus on getting fusion levels on him , try your best in Krypt, it can randomly drop gear and gold cards after fights. Always Always do your free attempts in towers even if you know you'd lose. The participation rewards are useful. ( can be gold characters, souls or gear. )

Spam one hour quest to get as much souls as possible. It's the best way to get souls.

This is my biases

Never buy gold or challenge packs they are the worst value for souls. If you must buy packs buy mk/klassic packs either one works. But it's best to save souls for when thier are sales to get more value out of them.

Play and beat Shao khan tower to get all 100 talent points, and copy Draco talent tree. Or if you want help making a specialized talent tree dm me.

Above all remember this is a game so if you want to do something contradictory to what I just said , go for it if that's more fun for you.

“slow” is not the way to go, everyone has been saying that

first of all. the thing to be grateful about shao kahn is that he’s a free diamond that you can max. when a diamond is maxed, they have very high stats which is the case for shao kahn

shao kahn is a heavy hitter and a tank

if you equip block breaker on him and learn to time his attacks right, you won’t have much trouble besides getting hit back more oftenly

but he backs getting hit up with his health. he’s a tank

and if you want to get his xray at the start of the match, equip his gear as well as equipping another equipment which gives you a bar of power. maxed bloody tomahawk can do that. or just have mournful kitana in your team

Too many are great, and you can easily tell by their passives. As a beginner, you will need all of them

Lots of players would agree that kombat cup johnny cage is the best, though. Notable ones are klassic golds (sonya being powerful for overall use). Hanzo/inferno scorp and gm sub zero are also amazing (sp1 spam). All kenshis (with elder god being the best) including silver kenshi are also good.

Your closest friend is going to be the quest mode. Go for hard difficulty above 1 hour quest that gives 15 souls (in reality you would most likely only get 9). That means 27 souls an hour. The next largest source of souls is challenge. Finish all of them normal difficulty then go for souls challenge only hard mode.

Klassic Scorpion outweighs Any FW equipment. Max him First. He can almost solo clear towers. Pair him with Klassic Shang Tsung and melt.
FW equipment takes a back seat to him. Get him before that. There are recent YT vids advising this same thing from god-tier players.

Yeah that was crazy AH they disappeared a few days. I got a few hundo from FW Survivor ending but I only maxed Tomahawk in equip so far. I maxed Klsc Scorp within 3~ months of playing and he can be heavily relied upon in almost any team

MK11 characters are still in packs tho. All of em. Just peep the (i) on a given pack. A lot of them have them in Dragon Krystals and Souls packs.
F3 Smoke can do serious damage. I just got mine to F4 a day or two ago. Not had good luck fusing him up so consider yourself lucky. Him and ST paired with most other Klassic characters, be it Scorp, Reptile, Sonya, Kano even Noob can just destroy. Klassic teams have killer synergy

Klassic Kano's passive is crazy. He can stun on potentially Any hit. Basic attacks. Then you stun loop with Sp1. Paired with ST for the scroll add on, Kano can melt enemies

You can always pay to complete towers if you have Koins and souls to spare. You get souls back at the tops of some towers anyway in Gold Challenges so consider that if you need another fusion of a given gold char

Here are some best tips for beginners

1 never do Combo enders and special attacks on Assassin jade unless you want to risk it

2 Use Klassic ermac for bosses

3 If you have mk11 fujin and raiden is on your team well always put snaring gear for fujin and quickly tag in raiden to activate Fujins passive

4 Fire god Liu Kang is also works with Fujin's passive

5 Make sure you save some souls and Dragon crystal for future discounted Packs and Summon packs

4 hrs quests if u go out to touch some grass

8hr quest before sleep

1 day quests : if u know u are going to be busy next day start it a day before,

1day = 16 - 19 souls x 3 slots = 57
