Need help. Can't seem to be able to win this. Tried using Reptile's DOT but it's barely making a difference. They're first of all regenerating and then tagging out. The damage I'm doing not enough to bring them down. I spent a lot of time putting their HP down but at the end they tag out and tag in with full HP. It just doesn't seem to end.

Like I have already mentioned in that message, I tried using him but the Regeneration stops only for a few seconds. After that they heal back up. It is not as efficient.

If my damage dealers did more damage then it'd be worth it. But here it takes ages to bring an opponent down to even 90k HP.

@unique blade Dude. What the bloody hell is wrong with Cos Jax. Is he bugged or something. I am doing my combo on him and he suddenly starts hitting me DURING my combo. Also, every time I tag in and tag out, he's damaging my team. As soon as I tag in, he starts doing his combos and then when I start hitting, he blocks like crazy and my BB pretends that it doesn't exist.

Don’t want to jink it but if you can find a good way to get beyond that fight, I think there are two more in front of you. 189 is the last one. If you can make it past that, it seems you can make it to the end. Couple snags but currently on 198 waiting for refresh. Those Regens definitely were the hardest so far

Don’t know if you can now. I think he starts with the lowest health so you might be able to pull with tremor or KL scorp. With snidel low, that doesn’t work. Now it is waiting for him to tag in and snaring him either with a character that has it on special or hoping it triggers on a power drain with weak point talent.

This is 189 in case you were wondering. I finally got through it when I replaced JC for KC Sonya. Realized he wasn’t doing anything due to mk11 raiden so made a better combo with Sonya

Maybe because there were a couple levels where your guy would tag in and it just seemed all they did was stand there and get pummeled. User inputs did nothing. Tagging in/out sometime fixed it but it was random when it happened

Sub gives you a second chance. But someone like reptile can help with applying poison. I don’t know the best way through but it seems you need someone who can reliably apply a DOT and a snare. Beyond that, I think it is luck or you have gear that lets you power through

lookin good i see, do you have the teamwork talent? mileena's characters tend to not have fast basic chains, leaving them vulnerable af without unblockable gear. if you have the opportunity, give block breaker to your main and spam special attacks, so that when your other characters (for example, klassic mileena) tag-in, they can do an sp2 or x-ray straight away and kick some butt before tagging out again

that worked with my kosplay jaqui, aftershock tremor and dark raiden team, only jacqui had unblockable, let the other two focus on quick attacks with high damage

I screwed up yesterday and missed 7-8 or so in NEWT by wasting time instead of fighting.

In addition to EWT gear, I'd use power gen gear. Bbs are not as important as they might seem in this fight as opposed to other general areas of the game. You may safely sacrifice some bb gear according to your fighter's characteristics.

Also crit gear. I use Shao Kahn's Helmet.

You want gear to enhance your specials, such as Devastator, Datusha and WH.

Because you want to do as much damage as possible and immediately tag-out when the timer ends.

Yep, I think 189 is where I'm going to be hard locked. My KR is F0, but he's only need for his passive and my KC team are only FV, and can't take multiple hits with tower gear (and non maxed block breaker gear). A bit disappointing, but not at all surprising.. at least I can complete normal I suppose.

Don’t know if this will help anyone but found an alternative strategy for killing fglk. Instead of trying to resist fire, you let him apply it to someone who can heal from it like jade and dark raiden. After 7 applications, fire no longer heals him. So get it out of the way fast and then you can snare and beat the crap out of him

I did, the issue is my remaining members weren’t strong enough to defeat them (my KC team is FV) so one failed block break would often result in a dead character. I did like 10 attempts with them, tried a bunch of different characters and settled on this. It only took 4 attempts after I got my patterns right.

Gold. When he tags in, he brings the weakest opponent into the battle and stuns them. You can then also spam his sp1 because it causes stun. I also use bo rai cho and use his sp1 + he provides crits for martial artists (including tremor) so extra damage. It's a safe strategy I use against extremely annoying bosses
