It would've perhaps taken a couple less tries, at least, if I didn't want to prove myself right about not using such one-hit wondersmackers such as KLK or the Johnny Cages. I let an L60 SFJC go two matches against the bosses of FDQT m200 and even when not blocking or block broken using SP1s and SP2s, he scarcely scratched the surface and on top of that got killed once. Experience, intuition and perspicacity are to rely on.

You might need a diamond like klk. I’ve tried a couple different combinations with FX smoke and FX Klassik golds to no effect but also only have one uncommon tower gear at FX and rares around F5. Maybe with better gear or a diamond. Your luck may vary but just letting you know my exoeriance and where I gave up

Main fighter there is Klassic Sonia -> I hope you equipped her with Incurability gears - Famous Smile and if you put CO CC in the team instead of KCJC ( for bb chances ) you can even put Mileena's Mask ( WIcked Sister's...bla..bla..) if you have it, for more Incurability chances.
On Smoke works good Jax's Saxophone -> free Sp1
Also if you got Shang in Brutality range in the end of the fight, next fight you can Quit if he heals....if you Quit you'll restore his previous health

You also need to focus on gear with high resistance.
I beat 184 with KC Johnny, Triborg Smoke, and Pharaoh Ermac.
I tried many combinations until I went to my default tower team back then which are these three.

Then set talent tree to resistance also the ones that refund your power on special and x-rays.

Full regeneration + full life drain.

Done in 1 try

My weakness is that i’m too lazy to reset my talent tree for each battle so usually I stick with it until I lost another battle 🤣

Just discovered a new bug regarding dark mantle and shang tsung
-when shang tags in he gains invulnerability and takes no damage like normal for 7 seconds when he stays as shang
-when he chooses a different character it shows he has invulnerability but still takes damage from all attacks
