Yeah I’m not confused about that. I’m saying it would make sense to buff that specific card. Reptile has 2 weak basic cards, 1 weak challenge, and 1 strong diamond. So buffing that specific card would be a smart play. None of this gold cards reflect how strong he was in previous console games, NRS really lamed out Outworld characters for MKM. They are like “teaching” cards so you can figure out how debuffs work ... anyway players would get pumped to get a new diamond just by being a longer term member and you’d get some variety. It’s kinda lame when a brutality set comes for a character that can only use it on 1 specific card

Like you said Kitana makes sense. She has 4 diamonds. .... they bumped Kabal and Jade (and Raiden)likely because of brutalities being top of the list of reasons to do so (2nd to money) so bumping a Reptile, Sonya, and Kano card would be good for game

Not necessarily. There are no rules regarding drop rates. NRS can do whatever they want. We know that. They offer Klassic Reptile for “free” a couple times a year and they’ve even put him in a pack with other klassic cards with “decent” drop rate. There’s no real logistical issues preventing an idea like this being tossed around the brain team

I mean that the ex mk11 golds still have the same packs and the same chances to drop, their ascension didn't change anything, now they're even easier to get since you can drop them in towers and terminator packs

Anyway. Back to towers since we talked comebacks- I was pleased that LKT had epic and rare packs. ToH v2 did not. That was lame. TOH had very little attention given to it. I think the gear is great and wish it was given more care and proper pack offerings. Hopefully next time. How is your ToH gear colection?

Previously you could also get them in the gold card cash packs - like 5 for $5 or 40 for $30 or whatever. Now they are not offered that way. And now NRS can sell those cardS individually for $20 each. So yeah, NRS still offers those cards to drop at relatively “great” rates but it did change things and opened a new cash flow

They can sell them as diamonds but f2p players are still fine, nothing changed for them

Yeah that’s what I mean - doing LKT after KWT was the right thing in my opinion. Running ToH while announcing NMT at the same time was basically telling people to wait. Then there wa the overlap as you mentioned- just didn’t make sense. At the time I was wishing they just officially called it ToH for both towers(regular/fatal) and then just reduce the cost of packs and increase the drop rates so you could get the new gear and the old gear. That would have been insane amount of gear but would have made the buildout options more interesting and could lead to players having chance to really strategize with that many options That’s totally just spitballing for ideas because i didn’t like their choice but the point is, ToH got no love. It was like the red headed stepchild of MKM towers.
