Injustice raiden is very useful here, with weak point attack, he only need to be tagged in to snare, with his passive and brutality + lkt gear, he can be versatile card, tanya can tag in to break gears in between, another main damage dealer can be used or mk11 noob for deathmark. Or use klassic sonya + strong spec ops, to grind down whole team hp quickly, then injustice raiden can do brutality on each one

The only and best way to tell when the tower ends, is to wait until you get an ingame notification, since they always send those out 3-4 days prior to the tower ending
You can also look at the tower packs and when you see a timer on them, the end of that timer is another way to tell

Playstore dates have never been right, and are off by at least a few days, it'll probably be ending around the 11th if I have to guess
