I think Battle 160 the only way to actually win it is somehow remove MK11 Shang Tsung first.

Because basically everything I've tried triggers the 35% health recovery. Even when the characters don't actually die, he's still getting the 35% recovery back to full health. So there's no way.

Missile gap getting broken is a 1 in 4. Fine, if it breaks, but here's the thing, any attack that knocks out a character (not even if they DIE) causes Shang to recover 35% health, and his basic attacks and special 1 are about enough to "kill" a character, he gets the health with living dead, he gets it with Tactical extraction, he gets it under circumstances he shouldn't. So if I happen to break missile gap on the first try, sure, fine, but you can't "damage continuously for 2 minutes" because somewhere in there a character will "die" and Shang will go back to full health.

Yup. Just put a block breaker on him, spam combos, and sp1. Shang just has a bunch of health once his gear is broken but doesn’t really hit hard so you can take quite a few hits

@tribal beacon I'd try starting with Dark Raiden, no having him in the back, Dark Magic usually makes Dark Raiden constantly regenerate. @azure kraken you could try Klassic Ermac as a third if you have him, he blocks regeneration for the first 30 seconds. What about trying Kombat Cup Sonya to boot Jason? Don't boot scorpion because the passive will trigger if you defeat the other two and he'll escape the red tag. KC sonya despite being low fusion, the passive might help anyway if you kick out Jason. Then it's 3v2.

If so, you can try getting gear broken with Tanya (the Kobu Jutsu gear gives a chance for a special 1 to be unblockable, otherwise her specials have to HIT, not be blocked to break gear, they changed Tanya a few months ago to make her less useful).

Provided their gear is breakable......... (which it isn't but for the future battle 160) The traditional approach with Tanya is she's got a bar of starting power somehow (Either as a Martial Artist, Balanced Kenshi?? or Outworld via Mournful Kitana) or a FX Wrath Hammer. Some suggest unblockable gear (like the vial of infinite blood, which is an accessory), she's not your chief damage dealer but you need her to do a lot of specials, so gear that boosts power generation (Storm Hat, Elemental Face Mask) can help her get more, or gear that reduces special cost (Voodoo Doll?) can also help. Once the gear is broken then you have a second character (I think there's a frostbite on tag-in at least at battle 160 that shows up), so you might have use for that second character to have resistance to frostbite gear (Uh, Cryomancer's Ice Armor?, not sure of others), would help with their tag-in, then a special 1 power drain for that character (Kombat Cup Johnny or Undead Hunter Johnny), would be good, UHJC has a snare on special two but it has to LAND, not be blocked, so unblockable gear for Johnny (Rusty Chainsaw, a few others), and one of the tower specific gears that increase damage, really I recommend damage increases, not health cards that don't boost damage.

How did you take care of Jade?

The strategy is spear spam.Revenant is compulsory.Use spear spam to get Jade to 1 hp but don't finish her with scorpion , use sub0 sp1 to kill her.Then two things can happen
1)Noob tags in with his kick killing your gm but he escapes due to ice clone.Use sp1 to freeze him and tag Tanya and break some gear
2)Raiden tags in .Then freeze him and use spear spam .Get him to 1 hp and use Gm sub0 to finish him.
I used Tanya to break missile gap on Noob for effective spear spam

Revenant will come in hand.Breaking missile gap is necessary because you will be 1 hp due to dark magic and a single missile is enough to kill you if revenant dont trigger.Hope this helps

Jade will be a piece of cake with spear spam.It took me several tries before I came up with this strategy but in every try i managed to kill Jade with spear spam
