I got you guys. If you have day of the dead jade, this will be easy

I did battle 120 with a fusion 0 day of the dead jade. Just use her ghost shield, it’s easy

If missle gap really bothers you bring treacherous Tanya

It’s not difficult, just make sure treacherous Tanya shatters all of shang’s gear

Then spam special 2 with day of the dead jade and let Shang tsung do special 2 on you so he can kill him self

I did it with fusion 0 day of the dead jade, fusion 9 elder god kenshi, and fusion 2 mk11 scorpion

At start of match, let day of the dead jade do one special 2 and let Shang tsung do special 1 or 2 on you while you have the ghost shield on

Then, tag into either elder god kenshi or mk11 scorpion to power drain/cripple Shang tsung

Then, tag day of the dead jade back in, and repeat the cycle

I guess to make it easier replace mk11 scorpion and bring treacherous tanya to drastically decrease his damage and remove missile gap equipment

Wait for lvl160. I used over 30 tries and could barely finish it. Use Tanya, treachorous Tanya, to break his cards if he has any, or DotD Jade with SP2 to reflect his dmg

Use Klassic Liu Kang to cripple its attack & use Treacharous Tanya to break his cards and use your best attack character on him

160 ain't that hard. First kill the other 2 which isn't all that hard and then to kill Shang, start with Tanya with Wrath Hammer and also use mournful Kitana. That gives you 2 bars of power off the bat which means you can break 2 gear pieces. And then do 2 more which isn't that hard especially if you have outworld scourge talent and then it's quite straight forward. Just tag in with your main damage dealer and start melting him. Without gear Shang Tsung in 160 is a piece of cake. Barely does any damage. Preferably your main damage dealer has power drain on sp1.

Just cleared 182 with KC Johnny, Freddie Kruger and Vampire Mileena.
Used Johnny to do as much damage as I could before I tagged him out. Then luckily Freddie snared Noob so I could kill him and stop him from counter-attacking with every SP against his teammates. Tagged johnny back in until he died, and used Vampire Mileena's heal on SP2 to outlast the others.
