Yeah but death mark is not consistent enough. Brutality is only good for those who have brutality sets. So shao kahn is still relevant. Plus you can not have weak point attack, revenant, bone shield and death mark technique/brutal ending at the same time. And for me weak point attack and revenant is much more useful.

Well I used Klassic Liu kang and I was doing combo enders until Terminator gets Deathmark. Once there is Deathmark I would finish him with specials.

Well if you do combo enders continuously, you will apply deathmark. My Talent tree is made in that way that I have higher chance for combo enders. So my Liu kang does Combo Enders 90% of times. So it was easy to apply Death mark to him

With a Jason team, 2 can resurrect once or twice. Then one equip piece can bring one back again. Plus there is a couple pieces of equipment that can save them from defeat. Plus revenant. It can get really weird.
