Oh MY GOD I Finally beat Nightmare Tower 177. KC Johnny, KC Sonya (force Jade out), Spec ops Scorpion with the chains that have a chance to power drain. I was able to actually defeat Kitana first, then just had to remember not to use special 2 from Sonya on her because it unlocks Jade. KCJC level 60 X, rusty chainsaw X, bihan's visage 0, family tools 3, KCSB Level 59 X, Champion's nunchaku 0, military vest X, Trophy Collection 1, Spec Ops Scorpion Level 50 IX, Kunai X, Storm Hat X, Jump Rope Song 2, Specter's Infernal Chains 1. Generally use special 2 with spec ops scorpion to keep him alive. Johnny special 1 to power drain, Sonya, if possible, keep in reserve to tag IN when the assassin you are trying to kill tags out, so you can try special 2 to force the "healthy" assassin out and bring back in the one you are trying to kill.

About fifty tries later, got them.

And that was the first time I knocked any of them out the whole time I was trying.

I was finally able to complete this tower today... so far just the Jacket for finishing the tower. No epic, no rare, and the maximum uncommon just reached fusion V. Bad luck for me in every corner 🙄

One more key element - the special one from Scorpion is acting funky. You can't do the usual 2, 2, 3 plus special 1, so you need to be more careful and do 2, 2, special 1 after the first special 1 lands and hope your power generation carries you a ways, then once the 'last' special one you can get lands, tag to another character for a special 2. I had to do this twice, the first time it didn't knock out assassin skarlet and she regenerated to full health while I waited for sonya to get another special 2 on assassin kitana.

Earlier today from the nightmare tower I got a bicycle kick card. This would’ve cost me 250,000 coins if I had not gotten it out of a random reward or a card pack. I may not be very successful at this game just yet, but my advice is to use your coins to build up character stats so that when you do get a random stat card, it saves you hundreds of thousands of coins.

It's mk11 team. Use block breaker and sp after breaking block. If want to make it bit easy, use kc Sonya red card raiden in start, kill noob 1st, immediately block to stop Kabal x-ray, now kill Kabal. Worried about lacerte use dark Raiden.

I sometimes think my account is blacklisted with how I don't get death mark. On terminator, it always comes on endoskeleton, when I don't need it anymore.

Today I counted about fifteen combo enders with no death mark, until the character died, and then I got it on the second one after resurrection. It just feels unfair.

Congrats @vocal beacon, that took me forever to beat then finally I got one knocked out and then the rest fell, like, all in one fight. Absolutely getting clobbered then I won. yeah, I remember now, they get nearly full health. You have death mark unlocked so it's just gotta get the chances in your favor, once one is down the rest will be easier.

Projecting matches with all refreshes between now and Tuesday morning, I will end this Nightmare Tower at level 99 on my final run. 100 souls is not enough to make up for the loss of a diamond character card due to the 24h refresh bug that impacted many players at the start of this tower.

I’m bothered that they charge $19.99 for 1 diamond card... and level 100/200 is out of reach because of the 24 bug.

That bug only seemed to happen on players who eagerly stared the tower when it showed up... the most fervent folks. They fixed it later on launch day, but only for players who hadn’t yet started the tower. That stinks.

I’d be fine if they compensate equivalent, but 100 souls just doesn’t cut it for the loss of 15 levels.

.....and I still don’t have Raiden’s epic.

I have Noob’s brutality pair...but no Noob.

And people are buying multiple $20 Epic packs and still not getting Raiden’s epic.

I've literally been throwing in my weakest characters and losing in about 12 seconds in Nightmare Tower 60. It actually takes longer to start the round then goes to lose hahaha. I've gotten some pretty nice rewards. It's mostly been coins and not many of them, but sometimes I'll get 10 souls and the rest of the time is pretty nice equipment.

Like I've been saying, I'm only losing the matches that's I am unfortunately not skilled enough, we're not powerful enough to win. If you can win, I'm sure it will be better for you, but if you hit a battle that is just absurd for you, I would ask for advice here, and if you still can't win, then make sure you play it every chance you get even if you just participate, so you can get some rewards that will make you stronger for the next time of a tower.

Has anyone noticed that the Nightmare tower is the only tower that does not grant a ‘rare’ equipment card as a bonus for winning a boss battle.

All other towers had at least one boss battle which would give you a rare tower equipment.

The NT model for towers will make the towers difficult for players.

Kosplay Jacqui as Reptile using SP2 is devastating. Just switch between auto and manual. Auto compensates for the aggressive Kabals by blocking. @cloud spear

Tremor is good for finishing off low health opponents because he'll drag them back in on tag-in.

Use kos jaqui, kenshi and tremor. They are easy to defeat with that team

Use subzero version of jaqui, it has frost bite on SP1.

Nvm, deal damage to one, when he tags out, bring in Tremor, he will tag in weakest opponent. Onece tagging cool down is done bring back jaqui and deal the damage. Then finish them one by one
