I think you have more chance of getting tower gear by losing battles.
I got 4 uncommons and 1 rare tower gear just for losing battle #177 in first run. took me more than 50 tries on that battle.

@proven monolith you don’t need a max elder gods for it. I got through with just a F3 elder Kenshi. My others was a F6 triborg and a F7 Sonya. Killed the first guy before life drain. Use kc Sonya to Tag our next and then beat both with kenshi.

It’s not too bad. I just started 3 months ago. There are certain things you can’t do but you shouldn’t be able to beat end game content right away. The worst hit right now is FW. Survivor mode changed the scores dramatically. I used to get gold elite easily before the update. Now I get about gold 2 and don’t really play quick battles anymore. You get so many more points from survivor that anything in quick battles is essentially pointless except for the daily objective
It’s a fun game but getting good fusions are hard. Diamonds are nice but are really useless unless fused a couple times and that is where the bottleneck looks to be

I ended up using SB to use SP2 (Red Card) to get Kitana tagged in, switched to JC to power drain and possibly stun to prevent the character from tagging out, and COCC for unblockable
I ended up quitting whenever someone on the team died tho cuz they’d just heal. It’s just a matter of patience and hoping that nobody dies

Just played some nt and have to say the battle 180 was surprisingly fair. Battle 180 and 181 on the other hand are everything but fair. I'm currently stuck on 181 which is against assassin jade and skarlet and diamond jason. they have 40% and 50% yet trigger around 80%. My own 40-45% trigger trigger well, 25% off the time? Then tag in MK11 Scorp for continuous speedy beatdowns — never use SP as then the bats cannot attack, and back them up so Scorp keeps them “smack locked” and unable to retaliate. Dark Raiden healing himself in reserve if needed.

Clutch. MK11 scorpion is literally the best diamond character in the game, not even joking. He can be fusion 0 or fusion 1 and still clutch it fighting fusion 10 diamonds
And dark raiden is so underrated, cause he’s like klassic liu kang but he’s a lot easier to get. Underrated and nobody uses him cause of his weak stats
Klassic reptile of course, don’t even have to use him and he’ll still be very useful

Use Sindel ring if you have at FX so that your character also regen. Try to snare and kill one by one.
Also use klassic reptile if you have, his passive effect poison on opponent. It will stop the regeneration

Swipe opposite direction of the combo arrow when fighting Jade. Don’t use them on her and she won’t retaliate.
