You collect the relic fragments. Eventually they have an event called Relic Hunt. That event gives you more fragments. Once you reach a certain number, you can unlock 1 fusion of Shao Kahn, then the next number is higher, and so on.

Yeah, about. Not very often. Looks like first fusion unlocks at 97, then more and more up until 1260 fragments for the final EX fusion

It only unlocks when Relic Hunt appears on the main menu. Then you go into Relic Hunt and it will have an option to "summon" Shao Kahn

I keep Shao Kahn's Tower at match 87/100. This is so I can build up any new fighters with FoS requirements that rely on Specials 1 or 2 or combo enders, but don't rely on X-Ray or Fatal Blow Attacks. I've got him at fusion VIII and since they will remove his event if you max him out, I'm in no rush to do that.

The first time you go all the way through Shao Kahn's Tower you should have received a total of 102 Talent Points, and some decent souls, coins, and relics. The second time through (and beyond) you still get relics, but much less souls and coins. No talents after the first one.

So battle mode is what you're referencing with Kotal Kahn and his Osh-Tekk. He's definitely difficult on newer players. Ideally get your strongest kards in there like fused silver Kenshi and deal as much damage as possible
Shao Kahn Tower is the other mode where you get 3 free battles every 24 hours and earn talent points the first time through. Talent points are huge in progressing early on!

@boreal radish you're best off healing just once. i do believe the cost/heal % ratio gets worse the more you do it. MIght be worth letting one character in particular eat the most damage as well. You can continue to fight with an incomplete team i think.

I didnt do any specials. If your team isnt strong make sure to power them up to xray special. Jade wont be able to block that

Your team is waay more powerful than mine though ^^ My highst gold fusion is fusion 2 :p Klassic scorpion which I also used is just fusion 1 for me :p

I only had Klassic Scorpion and 2 bronze charanters. But i have been playing for 4 monrhs already so i was able to gather more fighters

Depending on how fast they work, they might already be into coding him, but it depends on how complex he is....I don't work for NRS and only have a base knowledge of coding but my guess is we won't be seeing him for a little bit, good work takes time you know
