as a beginner, the strongest teams you could do is if you are lucky with some MK11s and have fusions above 3

or klassic characters, they are a mix of gold and diamond. Usually easier to come by than full diamond teams

Yes, Ermac. At Fussion 0 he can still use his passive against boses effectively. His debuff eats 10% of a boss HP. And bosses HP does not reset if you lose. You continue the next fight where you left off. So unless a boss can heal, you can defeat any boss battle in under 10 tries.
