If you're going to spend DK, tower packs is that better option.
I would avoid all MK1 packs. After opening any 60 DK packs you get a free MK1 character.

Pairing MK11 Fujin and a Raiden is one really good strategy, don't even have to worry about Darkest Knight anymore
