When you go into tower, if you load a pre-saved set with a Kameo, pull the Kameo out and put one back in prior to fighting, shouldn't crash and be aware as I said earlier lots of your equipment in the saved loadouts may be missing.

So the missing gear issues on presets is a bug with current team in your survivor loadout it seems. You get warnings and if you do not heed the warnings, it surreptitiously removes all of those gears from your presets. So make sure you go into survivor and load a dummy team in there with no gears!

I think 5-6 of my presets are now missing most of their gear.

I guess you only lose them if you try to load a preset that has gear in use in whatever survivor set is loaded and ignore the warnings. If you haven't opened a preset, it's still fine.
