First is to equip your starter team with lucky hat or any gear that gives shield.
In my case.. I tag out shang tsung immediately the match start and tag in sub zero knowing ordinary power drain won't work cos of raiden passive bur sub zero frostbite works.. Meanwhile tagging out shang tsung means team shield for reasonable time.... So raiden go x ray on sub zero but couldn't knock him out...

I tag in shang tsung again, was able to power up special 2 which means my special bar power fills up and I can conjure yellow elixir which when applied, drain ALL opponent power immediately... Done that upon raiden tag in and he became toothless.... Finished him off with liu kang and the team become prone to power drain...

A long time ago I nearly dashed my phone against the wall on one tower battle, elder wind f165 or something where shang tsung became a nightmare with brutality modifier and has fX gear that freezes player characters upon tagging in... 3 hits from him and your player is down for his brutality mid match... He'll destroy your entire team within 15 seconds.
He has another gear that stun player upon hitting him... That makes it impossible for me at the time.... I got every possible suggestions, tried them with rage... None comes out working. lmao
