I still can't get level 50, ermacs soul siphon isnt doing much and they seem to always be at the same health. I've tried joker too with him but it's no different than when I was just using my strongest fighters

soul siphon doesn't prevent his healing, nor do any of jokers cards. I have no way of applying incurability either. is it over?

I start with joker, put on the drain then switch to ermac then punch him like three times, die then switch back to joker and put on the poison one so he misses attacks then switch over to someone to hold the pressure for as long as siphon lasts but it ends up being useless because he heals through it

im not sure how to help you but i just snared with my first charachter (Inj2 Raiden, but you could also use Mk11 jade or literally anyone with frequent power drain or snare on sp1) and let klassic ermac get subzero below 25% then I did brutality up to 100% in talent tree and killed him. All in all probably took like 10 attempts total to let ermac work his magic but hey it worked eventually. I dont think there are any bosses klassic ermac cant kill in ToT
