The main threat comes from this stage is none other than Geras

Plus, the addition of the fireworks modifier blinding your characters adds to the difficulty

Geras and his MK1 cronies has the ability to reflect any debuff you throw at, which made this stage difficult

Even Incurability will have difficulty affecting Geras as he'll heal a lot

Scorpion has cleaver to deal significant damage if he comes in

Shang Tsung has well of souls to penetrate your blocking

To counter the interuption time the sp usage with it
To prevent its dmg time the kameo before it by 1s (when you hear its sound)
Now after you delete scor/shang you will schange your gear to incurabilty to prevent the waste of tries (also check your tree before doing it if you forgot to change krypt talen tree if you have one)
