if you want a counter specifically to the fx effect’s buffer, there aren’t many options

my best advice would be to use specials that have minimal hits so all the dmg can jump between the “phases” of the buffer

and then you can ignore it with brutality or friendships

since the buffer is like a temporary shield that has health, but the user is still at their original low % hp
