You should try getting Liu's Brutality first, i think. You're pretty lucky already, so i don't think it will be hard to get MK11 Liu Kang or Klassic Liu Kang.

While most MK11 Kards are very useful... and you have chances to upgrade your current team.

Defense Talents are about Health, Resistance and chance to Resist / Lower Duration of Debuffs / Lower Effect of Debuffs.

Support Talents work around "helping" you with various bonus, such as reduced cost on Specials... but also making enemies Snared after getting Power Drained, aplying Cripple after Armor-Break, and so on.
