MK11 Liu Kang is very useful for his unblockable and critical chance for the team against opponents that he applies concussion to and helps his MK11 Team kounter the likes of the Assassin Team Nightmare Jason and Evasion equipments. Klassic Rain and Klassic Raiden can work together against the opponents with Team Soak and lightning strikes, even without their Brutality Epic pieces. Klassic Reptile is useful against Regeneration because of his Poisons and Klassic Liu Kang can Cripple on tag, heal from Fire and gains Critical damage after being hit with Poison or Bleed and gains extra basic damage when hit with Power Drain.

My MK11 Scorpion was Fusion I and to beat Battle 184 of the Fatal Action Movie Tower, I equipped with him Gladiator Mask and Elemental Stones for Slow and Stun Immunity, as well as Shintai of Revenge and Tamer's Sinful Whip for Unblockable chance on basic attacks.

I also had MK11 Liu Kang at Fusion 0 on the same battle and he used Stunt Award, Tin Hat, Varmint's Lucky Hat and the Shintai of Malice.
