For fatal 98, I actually just fully loaded my inferno scorpion with tower gear since he was immune to the dark magic effect, and included klassic reptile and mournful kitana as they were my strongest duo to pretty much instakill the first opponent. Then just relied on scorpion to finish smoke and the other one off
