usually the reason why is that if you have maxed shao kahn, relic hunt will just completely disappear from existence for you

like it wont even show up for you, this means that you can’t do the towers which also has some souls in them

so some people are so crazy for soul efficiency they intentionally don’t do the last fusion so they can keep doin relic hunt for souls
