Thanks for the advice, but this strategy isn't working for. The Fujin keeps interrupting my Scorpions string and instant killing him. Either with a simple combo string, a SP or an x-ray. That was five turns with no progress. Vampirism makes this too dangerous for me, going back to my old strategy.

so i see that you’re playing a boss battle. for every boss battle, you can use klassic ermac in the team to damage them overtime with his dot.
as your main fighter, you can use hanzo with his sp1. you can keep doing this until klassic ermac’s dot lasts, then it should be enough damage done. but you can survive as long as you can and deal as much as damage possible.
for your third character, you can use vengeful shinnok. when he has his sp2 available, make sure you hit the opponent with unblockable chance first. so you can deal the massive damage with his sp2. he’s underrated, i recommend to use him for bosses for his sp2
use tower gear for your characters as well, so you can get the damage boost

Use crit gear and maxed Black Dragon and perhaps Lin Kuei Tutorage talents with some bb gear, snare him and just keep putting the pressure on him with Specials, especially those that also are bbs or are grapples.
Oh, and use power gen gear so you can focus on using only specials instead of basics.
Frostbite works on him too.

Don't worry too much about it. Boss matches are typically just a matter of time, unlike some non-boss matches, which can be much worse sometimes.
Besides, you may get some Tower fusions before you get there.
When it comes to these special towers the issue is more often a lack of good tower gear than anything else other than not taking enough time to really think things through before diving into the fight, which is hard to do. For example, the other day I fought against a Day of the Dead team and if I hadn't been so in a rush to get into the fray, I would have equipped ceremonial pipe to help counter Day of the Dead Kitana's regen passive.
