• ...not so sure about third....could be Shao Kahn if you have his Hammer & Helmet....he'll have 3 bars right from the start..but he'll dye soon after..
• third ...could be KC Johnny -> you're used with him ...and he may stun when opponent want to tag-out
• third ...even Klassic Scorpion could work if you'll get lucky Sp1s...

I've found that force crashing the game after say, 5 fights, has been helpful so far in avoiding crashes during the tower.
Crash game before starting, do 5 battles, refresh tower, crash game again, rinse and repeat.
I haven't had a crash interrupt my tower attempts since I started that

Red card at start of match mk11 scorp then that way you just need to deal 2 character even if they swap out after losing half of their health they wont be able to max their health in short amount of time.
Once mk11 raiden is defeated you can easily power drain the rest.

I beat this with kcjc, kcsb and co cassie with basic tower gear (lvl 2-3 uncommon, lvl 0 rare) the trick is to save kc sonyas red card for jade so she doesn't heal when you kill raiden and scorpion, for those two grind power with johnny (to sp2) and then unleash the sp1 spam, you will kill them
