You need to upgrade your kollection, towers aren't meant for beginners. So just focus on making baby steps, open silver packs, play battle mode/faction wars and challenges. Most importantly do quests and open skarlet packs and then try towers
You can always keep playing towers for losses even, because you still have the same chance of getting random tower equipment drops or even gold character drops as well
